In fact, we are not talking about a new device. Our today's hero is only slightly different from "basic" model, Qtek s100. However, these are the 10 points, for which you should consider purchasing it. So in this review we will compare the new product to its predecessor.

Appearance
The main (and only) difference in terms of design the new model from the old - the body color. Qtek s100 was made in the traditional HTC colors: black plastic casing with silver front and back panel. Now the company changed the color of dark gray metallic.
A small, seemingly cosmetic change dramatically transformed the communicator. Qtek s110 looks very stylish and relevant. Thanks to the dark color front panel gives the impression that the CCP has decreased in size, although of course it is not so, the case remained the same.
Dimensions and layout of the controls have not changed, so it is especially to dwell on their description will not only enumerate them.Under the screen is a navigation joystick in the frame of the four buttons ("Call", "End Call", "Contact" and "Calendar"). Processor, memory, speed
No difference in the speed we were not expecting. In the Qtek s110 installed the same "rock" as in "cotom" - Intel PXA 272 c clock frequency of 416 MHz. But the amount of memory - this is the second difference between the new device from the previous one - it increased to 128 MB. Given that the main memory is never enough, the course is certainly true. Because of differences in the hardware there is little, then the results of testing using SPB Benchmark surprised no one. All differences between the s100 and s110 are within the measurement error.

Testing the video using the playback Betaplayer 0.095 showed the same results. Differences between typewriters do not.
Screen
The standard for today transflektiv, exactly the same as in the previous model. The size of the matrix - 2.8 "(72 mm). Lights - bright and even has 10 levels of brightness.
Viewing angles - the standard for today's devices: 30 degrees vertical and about 45 - horizontally. Next image contrast rapidly decreases, but the colors are not inverted. The effect of the "yellow screen" is not observed.
Battery
The battery is again the same - lithium polymer, capacity of 1200 mAh.
Testing time work was carried out with a full battery charge before the Main battery low warning in four different modes: - Stress test. GSM-module and Bluetooth are included, brightness and volume maximized PDA lost in a series of "hard" video. Opening hours - 3 hours 10 minutes.
- Normal operation. An attempt to simulate some "average" conditions of the CCP. GSM-Module has been enabled, Bluetooth - off. Speaker volume was set at half the maximum brightness - in the first division of the minimum. PDA lost in a cycle of regular video. Opening hours - 3 hours 50 minutes.
- Reading e-books. GSM-module and Bluetooth - turned off lights - in the first division of the minimum, the reading program was carried Haali Reader mode avtoskrolla. Hours - 9 hours 50 minutes.

In fact, the results are slightly lower than the s100. Perhaps this is due to double the amount of memory, which consumes more energy, but most likely it's just a measurement error when working with different instances of PDA.
Sound
Sound - pretty standard for Pocket PC: without extraneous noise and quite clean. Built-in speaker volume is still not enough for comfortable conversation on the phone, so I have to use a headset. The headset is the same as that of the s100, with a volume control button and answer the call. Hardware equalizer again absent.In general, the quality of the sound path from the previous model has not changed. Dictaphone still good: clearly writes the word companion in the premises of the average noise at a distance of up to 2-2,5 m. The automatic level control microphone can be turned off.
Wireless interfaces

GSM / GPRS

Naturally, Qtek s110 does not claim the title of a radically new model. In fact the company had restyled body and increased the amount of memory twice - here, in fact, everything changes.
However, it must be borne in mind that the difference in cost Qtek s100 and s110 - is minimal (at the level of variation in prices in different stores), so those who are thinking about purchasing the device from the family of HTC Magician, it makes sense to pay close attention to this very novelty as the benefits of the new device before the previous version are obvious.
